Time keeps marching, I keep working. If I’m going to continue to have a page, I need to update it more frequently.
Anyway, as promised nearly 6 months ago, here’s the picture of what Santa brought last Christmas.
It’s a Rigol DSA-815 spectrum analyzer with tracking generator. I’m very fortunate. It also makes the W7ZOI spectrum analyzer project I started kind of moot… although, one can never have enough test equipment.
I also picked up these interesting items.
The top unit is a KN-Q7A SSB transceiver, this one for 40m. Assembled from a kit, this is a very fun little radio from CRKits.
The bottom unit is a Yaesu FT-450D, which followed me home from this year’s Dayton Hamvention in May. And, NO! This does NOT mean the homebrew station project is dead. Just…
